Recommended Settings

ProcessBook

The following are the recommended settings for the ProcessBook.

In the ProcessBook:

  1. Click on File > Assign Model to display.
  2. Check the Keep Model and display synchronized checkbox.
  3. Click OK.
  4. Click on Tools > Modeler Preferences.
  5. Click the Connections tab.
  6. Check the Create a new connection point for each connection checkbox.
  7. Click on Tools > Preferences.
  8. Click the General tab
  9. Uncheck the Prefer Run Mode checkbox.
  10. Click on Tools > Data Sets.
  11. Select AF > Edit.
  12. Check the Do not retrieve AF Data in Build Mode checkbox.
  13. (Optional) Select the Background Color setting:
  14. Click on Edit > Display.
  15. Click on the Background color box and select Light gray.
  16. (Optional) Select the Color settings:
  17. Click on Edit > Format.
  18. Select the following settings:
  • Line=Black
  • Fill=None
  • Background=None for Text Format
  1. (Optional) Select the Font settings:
  2. Click on Edit > Format.
  3. Select the following settings:
  • Font=Arial
  • Font Style=Regular
  • Size=8 for Text Font
  1. (Optional) Select the Line Style settings:
  2. Click on Edit > Format.
  3. Select the following settings:
  • Solid Arrow
  • Regular Weight for Connector Style
  1. If the AF Browser dockable pane is not displayed, click on View > AF Browser to display it
  2. If the AF Property dockable pane is not displayed, click on View > AF Property to display it.
  3. Click on Tools > Data Sets.
  4. Select AF > Edit.
  5. Check the Do not retrieve AF Data in Build Mode – Repeat for AF2 checkbox.
  6. Click on Edit > Display.
  7. Uncheck the Automatically enable Scripting checkbox.
  8. Click on the Disable scripting for All symbols checkbox.
  9. Click OK.

ProcessBook & System Explorer

  1. Do one of the following:
  • In ProcessBook, click the Run Mode button.

  • In System Explorer, select Sigmafine Analysis.

    The remaining steps are the same regardless of which interface you are using.

  1. Right-click on the Case Runner and select Configure.

  2. Click the Run as Needed tab.

  3. Uncheck the following options:

  • Show run as needed check boxes
  • Collect Elements
  • Collect Transfers
  • Collect Inputs
  • Run

  2. Configure the options as shown in Figure 28.
  • In the On Collect Inputs, Reset All section, select Always under Results and Never under Adjustments.
  • In the On Run, Reset section, select Always under Outputs and Never under Output Adjustments.
  1. Click Apply and then OK.
